Processor-controlled battery monitoring: Undervoltage (undervoltage alarm horn)
The AkkuGuard is for monitoring the vehicle voltage of vehicle batteries and sets itself automatically to 12 V or 24 V. If the set voltage limit is undershot, the AkkuGuard either issues an alarm or disconnects auxiliary equipment (such as torches and radios) from the battery, depending on the device type. The very low power consumption (<3 mA in accordance with DIN 14507-3) keeps the additional load on the vehicle battery to a minimum.
Alarm
If the set voltage limit is undershot, an alarm (such as a horn signal or an LED display) is issued after a certain time. The contact of the potential-free output is closed on a pulse-by-pulse basis (the LED display flashes or an intermittent horn signal is issued).
