Processor-controlled battery monitoring: Shut-off (automatic shut-off of auxiliary equipment)
The AkkuGuard is for monitoring the vehicle voltage of vehicle batteries and sets itself automatically to 12 V or 24 V. If the set voltage limit is undershot, the AkkuGuard either issues an alarm or disconnects auxiliary equipment (such as torches and radios) from the battery, depending on the device type. The very low power consumption (<3 mA in accordance with DIN 14507-3) keeps the additional load on the vehicle battery to a minimum.
Battery monitor
The battery monitor disconnects auxiliary equipment from the battery after a certain time if the voltage drops below the set limit. As soon as the battery voltage exceeds the setpoint value, the power supply is reconnected.
