Battery charging and compensating box
The BLC Box is used for exact charge compensation of two 12 V vehicle batteries connected in series. In vehicles with a 24 V on-board power supply, one of the 12 V batteries usually becomes defective before the other. This is a well-known and undesirable problem. Uneven loading (e.g. 12 V auxiliary consumers such as radio etc.), different internal resistance of the batteries (e.g. temperature difference, one battery closer to exhaust) are the causes of this defect.
The continuous compensation process of the BLC Box means that the service life of both batteries is increased considerably.
